Our Work
Custom Wood Turnings are the ornaments of a furniture. They are the curved parts that help decorate the rest of the furniture parts, such as legs, bases, and tops.
Custom Wood Turnings also add charm and elegance to your furniture, as they come in various styles, sizes, and materials.
At Dutchess Millwork, we have been making custom and reproduction turnings and furniture parts since 1976.
The details in a luxury home are what elevate it from ordinary to extraordinary. At Dutchess Millwork, we believe that custom wood turning is an art form that adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space.
Our skilled artisans are not just woodworkers; they are storytellers who transform wood into unique and beautiful pieces that become the finishing touch in your luxury home.
We offer a vast selection of wood types to cater to any aesthetic desire. Choose the timeless elegance of classic hardwoods like rich mahogany, warm cherry, or the enduring beauty of oak.
For a touch of modern luxury, explore the dramatic black walnut texture or lighter options like maple or poplar.
When it comes to style, the possibilities are endless. Imagine handcrafted turned wood columns that flank your grand entrance or intricate architectural wood turnings that add a touch of detail to your fireplace surroundings.
We go beyond replicating existing designs; we create custom wood turnings to match your vision. Perhaps you have a specific historical period in mind, or maybe you’ve sketched out a unique design yourself, or found a picture of something you love. Our expert wood turners can translate your ideas into reality, breathing life into your vision with meticulous attention to detail.
